Food Systems Transformation in Southern Africa for one Health (FOSTA)
Background
Recognizing the need for transformative change to address food and nutrition insecurity and health challenges, the project prioritizes inclusive and equitable processes in envisioning and governing transformation, aiming to avoid historical exacerbation of social inequalities by agricultural and food system changes.
Objective
The objective of the FoSTA Health project is to explore the consequences of emerging pathways of transformation in southern African food systems with a One Health focus.
