The 2nd Transformation Learning Lab Global Programme of Food Systems brought together a diverse group of participants across the continent to learn, relearn and unlearn about transforming food systems for a sustainable future.
Elizabeth Namaona, representing CISANET, together with the Transformative Initiative (TI) team from Civil Society Organisation Nutrition Alliance-CSONA and Mwapata Institute attended the two day conference in Nairobi, Kenya.
Currently, Agri-food systems face multiple challenges rendering them unable to guarantee global food security while staying within planetary boundaries. CISANET is therefore excited to be part of the Transformative Initiative team which aims to drive a paradigm shift in Agri-food systems to ensure sufficient affordable food for everyone and promote planetary health.
